Generating a vendor/customer invoice from a PDF/image

  • On the navigation bar, select the Document tab.
  • To upload vendor invoices, select the Account Payable tab and to upload customer invoices, select the Account Receivable tab
  • Click on the Upload button on the right to select files to upload.
  • Once files are uploaded, they will be processed and the status will change once it is ready.
  • If there is a warning sign beside the date, it means that the document does not fall within the fiscal year. If data extracted is not correct, you can edit the date by clicking the ellipses and select Edit Invoice Date.
  • To create an invoice or credit memo, click on the ellipses and select accordingly.

Converting a bank statement in PDF/image to CSV for import

  • Go to Documents then click on the Bank Statement tab.
  • Click on upload to select one or multiple PDF/image files to upload,
  • The status of the file will be changed to Ready once the conversion is completed.
  • Download the CSV to review and make any changes if necessary.
  • Go to Banking from the top menu navigation
  • Click on import and select the reviewed CSV file.

    In case there are errors, we'll generate an error report. You can download the report and fix the errors in your import CSV file. To fix the errors, please refer to this document.

Attaching documents to a vendor invoice

  • To attach a document to a vendor invoice, fill in the Invoice Information and click on Save and Add Line.
  • Click on the paperclip icon to open the attachment panel and click on Add attachment.
  • If the attachment is a PDF file, you can copy and paste the information into the fields.

Attaching documents to a journal entry

  • To attach a document to a journal entry, fill in the General Information and click on Save and Add Line.
  • Click on the paperclip icon to open the attachment panel and click on Add attachment.
  • If the attachment is a PDF file, you can copy and paste the information into the fields.

Handling company documents

  • To upload company documents (eg. contracts, business profile, legal documents) go to Company Documents tab under Documents
  • Click on the Upload button to select and upload file.

Deleting company documents

  • To verify the deletion of a company document, enter the file name of the selected document to confirm the deletion.
